Q: How and when did you learn you wanted to become an Entrepreneur?

I always knew since I was a kid that I wanted to have my own business. I had the mentality that that was the way to make a lot of money. I wanted to work when I want, for myself, and doing something I actually enjoyed doing. I used to get my nails done often but was never happy with the service so I started doing it myself and then I started working on other people and it just blossomed from there.

Q: What is your inspiration, your why that keeps you thriving?

My biggest inspiration and motivation is my children. I just want them to see me become successful knowing that they are just as capable. I want to be able to show them the way and I want to make them proud

Q: What has been your biggest achievement thus far, that you’re most proud of?

My biggest achievement to date would have to be the fact that I’m still in business despite the current circumstances in the world. I’m getting closer to the end of my first year in business for myself and I’m continuously growing.

Q: What would you say makes you Pretty & Powerful? What separates you apart from everyone else in your area of expertise?

Pretty and Powerful to me means dominating whatever you do while staying classy, pretty, and being unstoppable

Q. What has been the hardest part of what you do, that you make look pretty easy?

Maintaining a business as a whole is A LOT! Especially when it’s just one person. People are always commenting how well I’m doing and I think to myself “Am I?”. I always feel like I could do better and I could do more. Keeping pace with growth and learning how to build a successful brand as I go is really stressful. But it’s a good kind of stress

Q. What advice would you give to someone that may be aspiring to enter into the profession or industry you’re in?

Don’t give up and practice makes perfect! Every training I have someone says “You make it look so easy...” but it wasn’t easy for me at first either. Learn from your mistakes and never stop practicing. Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself and focus on you and your business, not others in your industry because they’re not you and you’re not them. Compete with yourself

Q: On a transparent level, name a moment when you almost gave up on your success journey, but found the Momentum & power to move forward?

I can’t think of a time where I wanted to give up. It’s like I’m either going to make it or I’m going to make it. There has been a time however, during quarantine, where I thought I might have to get a job temporarily but I was determined not to. I told myself I would never work another job when I quit my last one (unless it’s doing what I love). I found other ways to bring in income and even developed new business ideas.

Q: On a transparent level, name a moment when you almost gave up on your success journey, but found the Momentum & power to move forward?

I’m working on providing consistent training to those interested in learning how to do nails, I am launching my first products soon while looking into more and I welcome any other opportunities in the meantime. In the near future, I see myself traveling to train and/ or do behind the scenes work. I want to be published in NAILS Magazine one day and I also want to open my own school.

Q: In closing what Powerful profound message would you?

Set yourself apart and stick to it. Do whatever you’re doing with passion or not at all, or it’ll never last and you won’t be happy. Own your brand and show them what you’re made of, and let nothing get in the way
