Q: How did you start within the profession you’re currently in & how long have you been it?

I begin my Career within the Corporate America Spectrum in 1999 (20 years ago this year) there I was introduced to the Financial Industry by being a successful member of the Financial Control Division specializing in Financial Control & Management, Public Accounting, Cost Accounting, Cash Management, Financial Analysis, Internal Audit, Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Forecasting, and Budgeting.

K.E.Financial Associates was birthed in Spring of 2011 with a Name ReBranding on September 1, 2012.

Q: What is your inspiration that keeps you thriving?

My inspiration that keeps me thriving is my Desire and Admiration to acquire more.  Simply More Education, More Formal Training, More Wealth, and More Accomplishments.

Q: What has been the hardest part of what you do, that you make look Pretty easy?

The hardest part of what I do is “Making This Entrepreneur” Journey look easy.  Entrepreneurship is more than a Pretty Face, a Fabulous Outfit, and a Smile for the Camera.  This Journey has forted me sleepless nights, long days, tough decisions, mental anguish, and  stress beyond my years to name a few but Overall the hardest part of my Journey is the Work vs Home Balance of Maintaining being a Successful Businesswoman while Managing to remain a Loving Wife and Devoted Mother.  This task was in fact trial and error however the importance of maintaining the healthiness of my home and the joys of watching my Children flourish is a priority.

Q: What has been your biggest achievement thus far, that you’re most proud of?

My biggest achievement thus far that makes me proud is the Growth of My Business, My Brand, and My Entrepreneurship in its entirety.  This Growth stems from Recognition I have received such as being featured in The October 2012 Issue of Columbus and The Valley Magazine being named  “1 of 5 Rising Stars” along with  being Featured in The Citizen of East Alabama Business Owner Spotlight.

Q: What would you say makes you Pretty & Powerful? What do most call on you for? (your superpower)

What makes me Pretty and Powerful is my Ability to remain Pretty Inside and Out while Never Accepting Defeat or losing my Fearless Attitude.

Most Call on me for my Encouragement, Motivation, and Most Importantly Sound Advice.

Q. What advice would you give to someone that may be aspiring to enter into the profession or industry you’re in?

Be TRUSTWORTHY, Dependable, and NEVER GIVE UP.  If this journey was easy Everyone would be doing it but its not.  Any profession primarily within the Financial Industry requires patience, attentiveness, honesty, dedication, and determination.  “Everything Worth Having is Definitely Worth Working For”.  The Sweet Reward of your Labor.

Q: On a transparent level, name a moment when you almost gave up on your success journey, but found the momentum & power to move forward?

I most recently experienced the sudden and catastrophic life changing event involving the health of my mother.  To know my mother and to know our relationship you would know my mother is my rock and takes pride in all of her children’s achievements.  My mother is my “Go to Girl” not to mention My” motivation from the start of my career and my every day conversationalist.   My human side felt devastation and defeat not being able to share moments, receive encouragement or simply pick up the telephone to say “Hey Momma Guess What I did or Guess Where I have to Speak this Month or Guess What I have in Store this Season” however I strive and have the power to move forward because my Mother Prepared me for My Success even before I saw it coming.  My mother would not have it any other way so my Power now is More Powerful than ever to make my mother Prouder than she has ever been.

Q. What projects are you working on; that you can share & where do you see yourself in the next 3-5 years?

Some Projects I am working on now includes Re-Branding, Re Launching even more services including my new partnership with my husband in our thriving Credit Restoration business, Product Branding, and a Host of Empowerment and Entrepreneur Events within my area .  There are several other projects I am working on that will be disclosed at a later time #Wink

In 3-5 years I see Growth and Expansion beyond my Immediate Territory.  The Launching of another business and the completion of a degree I have sought to obtain for a number of years now in a broader industry to enhance my services.

Q: In closing what Powerful profound message would you leave to other fellow Pretty & Powerful females climbing the ladder to success?

In closing, “The Biggest and Best Project you will ever work on is YOU”.  Start with You.  Set Goals, Aim High, and Supersede your Own Expectations.  Enhance your skills, Connect, and remain Pretty and Powerful.
