How did you break into your industry or get started? I actually just jumped right in there hoping to get into the event industry; because I thought at first it was so grand. While yet it is not as easy as it looks it requires very hard work and commitment. So my jump became my passion, to see beautiful things come together like a puzzle. It also became a challenge for me to always create the ultimate puzzle with more and more pieces to the puzzle. Now I eat, sleep, and dream events thinking of how I can make them the very best and above the rest.

What is your inspiration? The Smile, The Happiness, The Memories, and seeing the final pieces of the puzzle put together. A beautiful outcome at the end of every event is always my #1 goal.

What has been the hardest part of what it is you do? Not being able to give my clients what they truly want and deserve because I have a very big heart and having to say no, when I really want to be a blessing.

What has been your biggest achievement thus far? Continuing to stay in business gaining consistent great reviews about my work.

What advice would you give to someone trying to get his or her foot in the door? Know that this is something that you really want to do. It is a hard job that you must be equipped for in order to be successful. You have to be able to deal with all types of people and personalities. Remain humble and have a good relationship with God. Be willing to go the extra mile even when you don’t feel like it or feel the client needs it. Never put your personal feelings or needs first!

What projects are you working on (that you can share)? A design studio/office space.

Crown Up “Be the Queen U R”

Mission: To encourage women of all ages, race, and socioeconomic backgrounds; to learn how to capitalize on their strengths, recognize their weaknesses, and develop a sense of self-awareness that will allow them to become the queens they were born to be.

Vision: To help build and maintain a level of confidence in every woman, so that she can embrace her own uniqueness and inner beauty that is given by God. Enhance the mindset of every woman to never compromise their crowns and to see the possibilities in every aspect of their lives, good or bad.

Always compliment yourself on a daily basis. Validate yourself by knowing who you are and whose you are. Know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God’s hands. LOVE YOURSELF (HARD) beyond measure. Own who you are! “CROWN UP” BE THE QUEEN U R is an empowering movement, not just a saying. It’s a lifestyle, not just a shirt you are wearing. A queen should never compromise her crown by going outside of her character. Never put her crown down to fit in with the in-crowd. BE THE QUEEN U R!

Queens DO NOT WORRY about anyone taking their crowns. Crowns are a gift from God that are custom made just for you. Your crown will never fit anyone else and vice versa, theirs won’t fit you. When you “CROWN UP” you can then support, uplift, embrace, and encourage other women without the fear of competition.

Where do you see yourself in 5 Years? I see my brand and product being global and being able to do luxury events for major celebrities and stars. Having large conferences for the “Crown Up” movement all over the United States.
